SMILE – KotarouAkaba

The two stared at each other, their eyes focused and at the ready, a tension-hanging heavy in the air. Kotarou started first, hooking his fingers into the corners of his mouth and pulling, crossing his eyes at the same time. Akaba's face remained motionless for the five seconds that Kotarou held it. The dark-haired boy scowled and rubbed at his now sore cheeks.

Akaba recited a joke Juri had told him earlier. He didn't understand it, but it sounded like the sort of thing Kotarou would find amusing. Kotarou's lips stiffened, an effort to keep his poker face, and succeeded. Akaba clenched his hand and waited for Kotarou's next move.

Kotarou did a striptease.

At the point where his chest was exposed, Kotarou spun around and pointed at the small smile on Akaba's face. "Hah! I win!" He exclaimed, a bright smile on his face now that the game was over.

"Fuuu." Akaba sighed and stared up at Kotarou. "Fine. What is the penalty?"

Kotarou grinned and kissed the boy, who happily kissed him back. Kotarou seated himself in Akaba's lap, and they remained that way for a few minutes before breaking apart.

"Not what I was expecting as a penalty, but I'll accept nonetheless." Akaba said with an almost smirk. Kotarou scoffed at him.

"That's not your penalty. That's my prize! Be smart, Akaba." He chided, wagging his finger playfully at Akaba, who raised an eyebrow and inquired as to what his penalty was then.

"You can't serenade me for a good week."

"What?" Akaba was dismayed, and he took a worried look over to his guitar, laying down at his side. "But my guitar's chords sing only for you. Kotarou…" His voice pleaded, but Kotarou just grinned and rested his arms on Akaba's shoulders.

"No serenades. It's not smart, ya know. They're embarrassing."

"You'll just miss them all the more." Akaba warned, butting his nose against Kotarou's.

"Then I'll enjoy them extra when they start up again." He replied, giving Akaba a peck on his lips. "But none for a week."

"Fuuu. Fine…"
