As I stand here, reminiscing on the past, I realize what a fool I was. To fall in love. With you.
Looking back, I don't even remember what I saw in you. Ahh, yes. Your captivating, dark, void of amber eyes. Your strength. Your lies.
Whenever you looked at me, you flashed that grin that made you look like a complete idiot. You'd stumble over your paws a little. Sometimes you'd even end up falling flat on your face. I'd laugh.
I'd laugh now, if my insides weren't being eaten away. It's worse than giving birth, than catching greencough, than even dying. I'd laugh at my stupidity. My idiocy.
What crossed through your mind as you were exiled. Psh. You complete idiot. Your life could have been perfect. But too many cats have died at your paws. So why do I still love you?

Now I realize something, as StarClan shakes me gently from my mortal life. If your lies about what love is, brings, and creates, are true, then I'm wrong. You never showed me love. The kind of love that mates share. I was just temporary. You left and forgot about me. Then you found that golden tramp Sasha. I'm happy for you. You're both alike. Idiotic mouse-brained crow food eating rouges.
I hope your children hate you. I hope their mates hate you. I hope generation after generation hates you.
Your smile was just to seduce me. To fall in love with such a thing, it proves that I should be dead. StarClan forbid you end up in their peaceful home. StarClan forbid I'm with you.
Firestar's right. If you deserved me, you would have come back. Firestar is twice the cat you'll ever be.
