SURE LOVE – TooruYuujirou
Tooru thought he could never be sure of anything. He couldn't be sure of how he would handle the Princess job, or how he would react once it was all over. He wasn't sure if Sayaka would be less intent on him even after she seemed to be getting better. He couldn't be sure of how he would do in classes or if he would be able to find that CD he wanted to buy. He couldn't be sure how close he would be with Mikoto after they stopped being Princesses. And he wasn't sure of how Yuujirou felt about him.
The only thing he thought he could actually be sure about was the fact that he was in love with Yuujirou.
And when time passed and Tooru found no more things he could be sure of, he almost started to lose faith in the assurance of his love for Yuujirou. It was only when they were alone after class, cleaning the room, when Tooru was reassured. It was only when Yuujirou had snuck up on him and pressed his lips against Tooru's for reasons different than their last kiss.
And while there was no verbal communication of the words, Tooru could feel them in his bones, and so when they pulled away, breathless, Tooru just had to ask.
"You sure?" He asked, eyes wary but hopeful.
"I'm sure." Yuujirou replied, and they smiled, leaning forwards to kiss again and reassure each other of the solidity of everything.
