Hello I'm back again and this is my third Kodi X Dusty fanfic this story takes place after the events of my story "Puppies In Dusty".
And I don't understand why aren't you guys reading mystories that aren't Balto related like my newest story which is an Ultraman and Monsters Vs Aliens crossover"Ginormica and Ultraman Ginga" my Balto andGhostbusters crossover "I'm Not Afraid Of No Ghost"and my Balto and Ultraman crossover "Balto The Next Ultraman Nexus" I'm not forcing you guys to read those stories I'm trying to introduce to other movies and TV Shows I like, I mean I like Balto but I like Ultraman,Monsters Vs Aliens, andGhostbusterstoo and I haven't moved on from Balto, Balto is forever in my heart but I can't just make Balto fanfics all the time please understand.
Anyway here's chapter one of "Goodbye For Now"
Chapter 1. Am I Ready?
It was a calm winter afternoon and Kodi and his family were part of it.
Kodi and his mate Dusty were watching there five pups play with each other.
Although they were cute and cuddly they were sometimes a pain in the head for their parents.
"Connor stop chasing that mouse." Kodi said.
Before Dusty could turn her head.
"Molina don't eat the snow." Dusty smiled.
"Kodi Jr stop nibbling your brother's ear." Kodi said.
"Togo, Rusty you two are too far come back now." Dusty said.
Everything that the pups were doing was making this trip hard for the two parents.
"Sheesh I never knew that parenting could be so hard." Kodi joked.
Dusty giggled and she nuzzled Kodi.
"Well at least their having fun." Dusty said.
Dusty and Kodi then kissed each other on the lips their kiss lasted for at least 2 seconds.
"Ewww Mommy and Daddy are kissing." Molina said.
Kodi and Dusty parted and their cheeks turned bleat red (they were blushing).
"Well Molina when meet someone you love as much as I love your father then you'll give him lots of kisses." Dusty said.
"Dusty don't tell her that." Kodi whispered.
Molina just rolled her eyes and she went back to play with her brothers and sisters.
"Say Kodi how about tomorrow we go for a little walk with pups?" Dusty asked her mate.
"Dusty I'm sorry to tell you this but tomorrow is Adoption Day and it's time for our children to move on to new homes." Kodi said.
Already no it can't be there my babies I can't let them go just yet. Dusty thought.
Dusty then sniffed and she started to tear up.
"Dusty what's wrong." Kodi asked noticing a tear sliding down Dusty's cheek,
"Oh nothing is wrong Kodi." Dusty said wiping away the tear.
Kodi knew Dusty better than that though.
"Dusty I know something is wrong." Kodi said with a smile.
"Okay Kodi I'm notvery sure if ready to let Kodi Jr, Connor, Rusty, Molina, and Togo go yet." Dusty said.
"I know this hard Dusty but they have to grow up and start families of their own." Kodi said.
"But Kodi...their my babies." Dusty said.
Kodi then stroke Dusty's fur.
"Dusty it'll be okay they'll be here in town and we'll both see them everyday." Kodi said.
"After all its how I got adopted and ended up meeting my forever companion." Kodi said.
Dusty looked at Kodi and nuzzled him.
"So did I." Dusty said with a smile.
"We better get home and get some dinner we got a big day ahead of us tomorrow." Kodi said looking at the time.
Dusty nodded.
"Come on children time to go home." Dusty called out her pups.
Once the pups were rounded up Kodi, Dusty and their children went home.
