IT'S LOVE – KotarouAkaba
"They're in love." Juri decided, not caring who sat beside her and listened. It happened to be Deimon's cheerleader, Suzuna, who looked at her oddly.
"Huh? What are you talking about?"
"Mmm, my teammates over there." Juri pointed towards the field where the Bando Spiders were having a friendly match against the Deimon Devil Bats. "Kotarou-kun and Akaba-kun."
"Those two? I thought they were always fighting?"
"Yeah, but I know it's all just a cover. They really like each other. How could they not, really?" She asked rhetorically, placing one finger against her chin while she started counting off on her other hand. "They're both dedicated to football and winning, they're both equally weird, not to mention that they're both hot. Even straight guys would probably have some trouble resisting those good looks, honey. And Kotarou cares too much about his hair to be straight. Greasers aren't here in this day and age."
Suzuna paused, slowly following where Juri was going with this. "I guess. I can sorta see it happening." She wished it would happen. That would be awesome.
"Oh! And plus-" Juri leaned in towards Suzuna, taking her finger way from her chin to raise in point. "Akaba-kun once told me he thought his and Kotarou-kun's rhythms were in harmony. And Kotarou told me he thinks Akaba-kun can be 'pretty smart sometimes'." She added, straightening her back and moving her hands in a Kotarou hair-styling parody. Suzuna grinned.
"That's cool, but haven't they said that before?"
"Out in public, in reference to football. This was just random, in private, to me."
"Ergo, they must be in love." Suzuna said, as though she doubted it.
"Yep."
"Cool. Send me pictures!"
