Celes stood standing against the railing of the Falcon, looking out at the world laid out below her. Ruin. Everything was in ruin. She sighed, the cool air not bothering her. Her long blonde hair blew slightly in the cool wind.

"Celes?" she turned to face her friend, the half-esper girl, Terra.
"Oh.. hello Terra." The green haired girl took her place beside her blonde friend. "Are...you okay?" Celes smiled at the other girl. "I'm fine." Terra blushed. "Oh..."
Terra's gaze went downwards. "I wanted to thank you for helping me realize that I can still fight."

Celes smiled. "It wasn't just me. Sabin, Edgar, and Setzer helped too." Terra blushed and returned her gaze to the pale ex-general. She nodded to her. "Yes, I already thanked them."
Celes chuckled, somewhat glad to have someone to talk to. It was better than wondering where Locke could be.

"Are you sure your alright?" Terra pried, looking at Celes with concern. The blonde frowned slightly. "Yes, I'm fine." Terra blushed again, averting her eyes. "I'm sorry to ask again."
The blonde magitek general sighed, and placed her hand on the other girls shoulder to comfort her. Terra glanced up at her.

"No. I'm sorry, I can tell your worried. I didn't mean to sound so harsh with you."
Terra smiled slightly. "Well....don't worry about it. It's okay, really." Celes smiled with gratitude, and Terra blushed slightly again, glancing out at the stars.
"Well...I'd better go to bed." Celes turned to the other girl who was now looking at her.
"Yeah. I think I will too." Celes responded.

"Okay." Terra stepped closer to Celes, and kissed her softly on the lips. Celes turned a deep scarlet, as did Terra. With a small smile, Terra half bowed. "Thank you." She said, hurrying downstairs into the confines of the ship.

Celes blinked and brought her lithe fingers up to her pale lips softly. The blush did not leave her cheeks. She glanced up at the stars, then walked towards the stairs. It was obvious tonight she wouldn't dream of Locke.
