"Nyaaa! Yagyuu-sempai!"
Yagyuu (as well as the rest of the class) looked up abruptly at the oddly familiar voice, though it was too high-pitched to be instantly recognizable. A girl stood there, decked out in full cosplay gear with a maid dress and cat ear, tail, and even paws. She smiled brightly at Yagyuu, who stared blankly back at her. The classroom was covered in silence, the lesson already forgotten.
"Yagyuu-sempai, let's go out!" The girl said, striking an adorable pose. The class started to laugh and murmur amongst themselves, quietly. The teacher interrupted any reply Yagyuu could have given by forcing the two of them to go outside and let class resume.
"Let's go out, Yagyuu-sempai! It'll be fun!" The girl started up again as soon as the door had closed. Yagyuu sighed and pushed his glasses further up his nose.
"I have no interest in going out with someone like you." He said, then looked at the tall girl over the edge of his glasses. "Of course, you should already know that, Niou."
Niou laughed heartily and pulled the paws off his costume. "Too bad! I was hoping you wouldn't see through it so quickly."
"I'm used to your tricks." Yagyuu simply stated, pushing his glasses up again while Niou continued taking off parts of his costume.
"Hummm, I guess so. So boring." Niou said with an irritated sigh, finally taking off his wig until the only part of the costume left was the maid dress. He smirked at Yagyuu. "Let's still go out and do something fun."
Yagyuu snorted, his ears turning pink now that the only thing he could see was Niou in a maid dress. "I thought I already told you my answer." Niou just grinned and grasped Yagyuu's bicep, intent on dragging him away on their date whether he wanted it or not.
The teacher opened the door to let Yagyuu back in, only to find a pile of cat ears, tail, paws, and a wig on his doorstep. He groaned and leaned his forehead against the frame, cursing the day that Niou first picked up a manga.
