"Argh..." Kyokutei groaned as he shut his eyes tight, trying to burrow himself deeper into the couch as his cousins glanced over him briefly, one holding a look of apathetic indifference in her eyes while the other held the smallest bit of concern.
"What's wrong?" Suzukane asked, a hint of worry touching her voice and Kyokutei groaned again before answering her question, his voice sounding distorted due to his mouth being muffled by the pillow he was burying his face into.
"My head hurts..."
Mayonaka snorted once she heard his muffled answer, earning her a glare from Suzukane. She shrugged apologetically as a devilishly playful smile flitted across her face. "That's your brain trying to comprehend its stupidity."
"Not funny..." Kyokutei moaned as he lifted his head long enough to give her a weak glare before trying to smother himself with the pillow again. Apparently, Suzukane had found this funny as she tried to disguise her snickers but she wasn't fooling anyone. Mayonaka flashed her best friend with the same devilishly playful smile, feeling a bit satisfied at hearing her laugh.
