Conviction
Thor watched his imprisoned brother, the question that has plagued the thunder gods mind making itself known. "Why Midgraud(? how do you spell that?)" The god of misfit laughed "because, dear brother, as I have said before they were meant to be ruled." Thor sighed, he had foolishly thought Loki would revive the lesson his defeat should have taught him. "Humanity can`t be ruled, I thought you would have realized that long ago brother" Loki scowled, his stubborn natural ever present, he sneered "This simple...set back proves nothing brother, one day I will rule your precise midgraud, and the Avengers will not foil my plan again!"
"Oh, Loki, you still don`t understand " Thors voice held pity.
Angered by the pity Loki growls "No, you don`t understand, you fight for humanity and yet it destroys itself as we very speak, they are weak and need a ruler!"
"Weak?" Thor laughed like it was a joke, then suddenly sobering "The Mortuaries stood against you and the chitiry army without hesitation , without fear even thought the odds were severely out of their favor , I was honored to fight alongside such noble warriors"
Now it was Lokis turn to laugh "Noble? They fight for a lost cause"
"You misunderstand again, brother, their cause is strong and as son of coul said you lack conviction, as where the Avenger do what they do because of their conviction"
'Conviction means nothing!"
"It means everything! You can't win a battle, a war if you have nothing to fight for, all you have done battle for is your own rule, that is why you were defeated"
"I was defeated because the chittiry were weak!'
"Still you miss the value of your defeat, the reason you were defeated was you were fighting against not only formidable, but admiral warriors, that would give their life to protect their home and it`s people"
"I would have saved their people!"
"No! You would have enslaved them! Let yourself know this, humanity will always fight evil such as you" Thor walked from Lokis prison cell with his last word echoing.
