My Immortal

Summary: This is yet another songfic I've made. This time the song is 'My Immortal' by Evanescence. This will be about Artemis thinking about her past. Hope everyone likes it!

Artemis
appeared beside a stream in Genkai's forest. She appeared to be
lost in thought at the moment. Suddenly she began to sing.
I'm
so tired of being here These wounds won't seem to heal
Suppressed by all my childish fears

This pain is just too

There's just too much that time cannot erase
She looked around to see if anyone was there. She saw no one but there was someone. Her only living biological sibling, Melros.

And I held your hand through all of
these years
But you still have
All of me
Artemis was in one of her sad moods. She had been through a lot in her lifetime though. She had been in a evil clan and lost everyone she held dear. Everyone except Melros.

used to captivate me These

Your voice it chased away
All the sanity in me

Melros was watching Artemis sing. He had hoped she'd be able to think past what had happened. But He could tell that she had not.

Artemis kept on singing even though she thought no one was listening. She then went to the final verse.

tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone
But though you're

I've been alone all along
Then came the last part of the song which she sang beautifully. Even Saultin, known as the Soul Spirit King, would have been proud as would have Apolla and Karina. That is if…they had been alive.

Artemis then ended the song and sighed. If only someone had been able to hear her sing. 'I heard you sis…you were great!' Thought Melros.
