I was walking through the Central Park Zoo, thinking to myself. It was near closing time, but I didn't really care. I stopped, just outside the penguin habitat. I don't know. I've always had a thing for penguins. I don't really know why.

It was then that I saw her. She was sitting, on the park bench by the penguin habitat. I went up and decided to use some of the ol' Skipper charm on her.

"Why hello, doll face. I haven't seen you here often." She chuckled as she turned to face me. She was even more beautiful from the front. Her black hair fell in waves down her back, contrasting against her pale white skin. Her bangs framed her perfect face. The fading light of the sun gave a soft glow to the whole thing, and made her look angelic. I ran a hand through my own black hair.

"Um, hi. I'm Beth. And you're ... ?" Her voice was silky smooth. I could listen to that all day.

"Skipper. Call me Skipper." She looked at me, captivating me with her sea-green eyes. I couldn't look away.

"And what are you doing here?" Thinking about how beautiful you are.

"Watching the penguins - so cute and cuddly." As I said that, I could've sworn one glared at me. I watched as she stood up.

"Well, I'll see you around, then?" I smiled.

"I hope so ... my beautiful."
