The ocean is a beautiful thing
Deep, mysterious, untamed
Sapphire blue waves of salt
Spawn beauty from their depths
Seashells form in every color
And they too bring forth light
Yet mingled with the jewel like surface
Is a dark and deep mystery
Soft swells sweep sea salt
From the ocean like sparkling tears
The ocean is full of salt
And with it full of sorrow
Salt and seashells
Sea salt icecream and sunsets
Something so saturated with sadness
Forms such beauty and peace
The ocean is a mystery
Not alive yet full of life
I am like the ocean
Like the tide I'm never the same for long
And when I come and go is not mine to decide.
