Summer Vacation
"Good news, everyone," Tatsumi said, the light from the fluorescent lights glinting off of his glasses. "This summer, we are going on a recreational trip to the Caribbean."
"Are we going there because we just saw the Pirates of the Caribbean?" Tsuzuki asked.
"In a way, yes. After Konoe saw it, he adamantly insisted that we take a trip there this summer."
"Do you think we'll get to meet Captain Jack?" Tsuzuki gleefully wondered.
"Tsuzuki, Jack Sparrow—"
"Captain Jack Sparrow."
"Right… Well, he's a fictional character. We can't meet him."
"But they stole his ship again! We can't just leave him out there floating on the ocean!"
Hisoka sighed. "Tsuzuki, we can't find him. He's looking for the Fountain of Youth." (A/N: Sorry to those who haven't seen the third, or any, of the Pirates movies.)
"Ohh…. That's so sad!"
"It's what he would want." Hisoka said bluntly.
Tatsumi pushed up his glasses. "We leave tomorrow, everyone."
At the Beach
"Tatsumi!!" Tsuzuki shouted above the roar of the ocean waves. "Come here! You have to try this!!"
"What?" Tatsumi was grumpy. He was already getting a sunburn.
"There's no line for water parasailing! You should try it!"
"I don't want to. I'm happy just sitting here."
"What's the point of coming to the beach if you won't do anything? You're not going to stay here all day. C'mon!"
Tsuzuki grabbed Tatsumi by the wrist and hauled him to his feet. He then pulled him to the station that rented out the water skis.
"It's a ten minute ride. If you do this, I won't bother you for the rest of the trip." Tsuzuki promised.
"Somehow, I really doubt that."
"I swear, Tatsumi! Please? Please, please, please?" Tsuzuki started jumping up and down.
"For the rest of the trip?"
"For the rest of the trip, I promise!"
"Fine." Tatsumi grumbled and started strapping himself into the life jacket.
Once Tatsumi was strapped in to both his life jacket and the parachute, the motorboat made its way out to the large area where there were no people. Tatsumi braced himself as the boat started to go faster. After a few minutes, he actually started to enjoy himself and released the tension in his back.
Yeah, this isn't so bad.
As the boat started to head back for the shore, Tatsumi was disappointed. He decided that he would have to go back and do it again (even though it wasn't a cheap ride).
However, as Tatsumi began to descend toward the water, he began to hear a deafening roar in the air around him and he suddenly felt something snag his parachute from above. Looking up, he saw that his parachute had gotten caught on the wing of an airplane and the line that connected him to the boat was torn from his hands.
Back on Shore
"Omigod! Watari, did you see that?" Tsuzuki shouted.
"Yeah, that's really gonna hurt when the plane lands." Watari replied, laughing.
"He'll be very angry with you when he gets back, Tsuzuki." Hisoka muttered, not looking up from his book.
"Me? Why me?"
"It was your idea." Watari and Hisoka said together.
All three turned their heads when they heard a shuffling noise coming towards them. Tsuzuki screamed when he saw a bloody Tatsumi storming toward him with a crowbar.
