At precisely 6:00 A.M the alarm clock blares.

After rousing out of bed it's time for a shower, the duration: ten minutes.

Shower is done, now it's time for clothes. Today is Wednesday, so it's the green sweater vest, white polo, and black jeans ensemble, topped off with black rimmed glasses and loafers. No socks of course.

Dressing should only take about five minutes, allowing for ample time to eat a healthy and well balance breakfast. As soon as breakfast is finished it's time to go to work from 11:00 A.M to 2:00 P.M, then go to school, and afterwards it's important that a stop at the local store is made to purchase dinner. When dinner is made and eaten it should be about time for bed. If there's extra time reading or some other activity can take up the extra time.

10:00 P.M is time for bed, which will allow for a good nights rest.

This might seem a little over organized, but it's the schedule that Blaine Anderson has followed for the past two years. Abiding by this nearly fanatical schedule not only makes life easier for Blaine, it also gives him assurance that he knows what will happen through out the day.

To put it simply: Blaine doesn't do well in spontaneous situations and can't really deal with those who are mercurial. He had enough of that in Ohio, so once he moved to New York to pursue an education in literature he said good bye to a life of uncertainty and spontaneity.

Luckily for him, this whole planned out lifestyle worked really well for someone who worked as something monotonous as a librarian. Being a librarian worked out well for Blaine because he knew when he had to work and it paid well too, while giving him enough time to attend NYU.

Majoring in English and working at the local public library provided the perfect planned out life Blaine had always desired .

But, a complete upheaval of this otherwise perfect life came in the form of a innocent smile from a fashion student by the name of Kurt Hummel. Kurt frequented Blaine's place of work at the 58th street library and the following is the story of how that boyish smile would turn Blaine's world upside down.
