Harry loves kids. He absolutely loves them.

Draco…tolerated kids. He really didn't care for or about them. However, Draco loves Harry. Therefore, he wants Harry happy. He wants it enough that he would be willing to have a child, should Harry mention wanting a child.

So when Harry did bring up adoption to his husband of two years, Draco didn't hesitate to tell him…

"Screw adoption we can have our own kid(1)."

Once Harry, who had been raised by muggles, had gotten over the shock that wizards could get pregnant with the help of a potion, he asked Draco if he'd be willing to have a kid with him. Draco instantly agreed knowing, even though he wasn't a huge fan of kids, he would love his and Harry's child. Harry ran to the fireplace to fire call Severus, Draco's godfather who was incredibly talented at potion making.

-Nine Months Later-

An exhausted, sweat covered, and slightly trembling Draco smiled as he took his newborn son into his arms.

"What are you going to name him?" A medwitch asked.

"James Sirius Malfoy-Potter(2)," he said softly as he gently stroked the blond baby's cheek. Looking at Harry, whose eyes were wide with shock and happiness at the announcement of his son's name, he murmured, "Do you want to hold our son?"

Harry nodded and instantly took the baby boy into his arms. He smiled as he looked into the eyes of his son that he knew would darken into the same green he had.

"He's so perfect, just like you," Harry whispered to Draco shifting so he held little James in one arm and put his other arm around Draco.

Draco leaned onto Harry laying his head onto Harry's shoulder.

"I love kids," Draco murmured as he kissed James' forehead and then Harry's soft lips.

"Want to have another one?" Harry asked softly after breaking the kiss.

"Only if you carry it."

"..."

(1) I have absolutely nothing against adoption but Draco would just rather have his own kid and had no problem telling Harry this. Also a preggers Draco is so cute!

(2) I like this name even though it's not that original and it means a lot to Harry.
