Collapsed

That I couldn't find

In the depths of my mind

Jenny could not stop thinking about him. The one. The one she knew she would always love forever.


Why did I let you go

I messed it up and now I don't know what to do
We ran in circles and wasted time

Jenny always wondered now: why? Why did she let him go? Why did he sacrifice himself for her? Why did he leave when he knew she would dread every day without him by her side?

I wouldn't have wasted time

Now its all collapsed
In my lap

She was a mess. Jenny had Julian, was in love with him, for a few months. She had had everything, and now, it was gone. Disappeared. Vanished. Collapsed.

I over thought
So I locked up my heart yeah
There you stood
Your blue eyes hidden beneath your hood

At first, when Julian admitted loving her, she locked up her heart. But then, as she saw the true person inside, she gave away the key. Jenny knew that she would never forget those indescribable blue eyes.

Why did Jenny let him go? She had everything, and by setting her grandfather free she had lost it all.

Would Jenny ever meet another Julian? With those beautiful blue eyes? No, she decided, because love like that only happened once…

But she had messed up, and now, he was gone…
