Disclaimer: I... *sob* I admit it! I don't own Digimon! ;_; (if I did, I'd be filthy, stinkin' rich, ne?) But I do own these ideas, so don't take them. Oh, and you can't steal my brain either, it doesn't exist anymore. :)

Note: This takes place in season one before Kari shows up.

Hi. Its me, Sora. Its kind of hard being one of the only girls here, especially since Mimi can be.... well, spacey. I mean, no offense to her, but shes not the best of companions for this long, lonesome and freaky trip. She and I differ at most points, she'd rather drool over the boys than have an adventure. I remember one night in particular, when it was my turn to stand watch. Mimi had woken up and decided to stay up to keep me company. I was pretty suprised by this, knowing that she'd much rather sleep than stay up and talk for 3 hours.

"So, Sora, do you like any of them?" Mimi was leaning on her elbow, staring across the campfire at Sora, waiting for her answer. "Any of who?" Sora asked, with a bit of a confused expression, which was a front since she knew exactly what Mimi meant. "Oh, come on! You know what I mean!" She huffed in response to Sora's attempt to get Mimi to lay off. "I like them all as friends. And thats it." "Oh, is that all? Well... I like them all, except for TK, cause hes just kawaii, but he's too young. And Izzy has his laptop so why bother?" Mimi made a face at the thought of how Izzy sat like a lump in front of that wretched machine for hours on end.

"Well, I guess Matt's kinda cute. But I don't like LIKE any of them." Sora stifled a yawn, prodding the fire a bit with a branch that she had found next to her. A spark flew off of the fire and hit Joe in the face, who in turn made some weird noises and yelled something about a volcano and then quieted down again. Mimi and Sora tried very hard not to laugh, but they weren't too successful and burst into a fit of laughter. "Wonder what hes dreaming about?" Mimi wondered aloud. "Oh, you Mimi! He is dreaming about the day he will admit his true love to you!" "Its not funny!" Mimi turned red, but mostly out of embarrasment, not anger.

Sure, it had been a funny escapade, but still. I mean, Mimi isn't very good to talk to about serious stuff. It's as if she wants to repel reality. I do wish I had someone else to relate to, but I can't tell the boys about my thoughts and problems as freely as I can tell a girl. And the only other girl around here is Mimi, and as I've already stated, she's not the best person to talk to about serious stuff.

I tried to talk to her yesterday, about our situation, but she was to busy trying flirt with Joe, who was freaked out by that. I gave up. I might as well GIVE up on trying to get through to her about this type of thing. I mean, as far as I can see, she'd much rather live in her fictitious world of dreams than face the reality that things are turning out lots differently than would please her.
