Some things about Sirius Black you didn't know.
1. His full name is Sirius Orion Black. He doesn't like because his middle name is also his father's name.
2. He never was his parent's favorite child even before his brother was born.
3. Different from popular believe he was loyal to the Blacks just as long as it didn't hurt innocents (he wasn't blind) and he would have died for them just as he would have died for the Marauders.
4. He loved four members of his blood family with all his heart and one of them betrayed him (that is something he can't forgive).
5. Sirius called his parents mother and father and Mr. Potter and Mrs. Potter mom and dad (to show that he loved them).
6. He didn't hate Slytherin or the people in that house he hated the fact that they allowed ambition to turn them into selfish people.
7. The moment he met them he knew James and Remus would be as close as brothers, at first, he didn't like Peter and he was right not to like him in the end.
8. The Sorting hat told him he would do wonderfully at any house but he was reckless a big flaw with Gryffindors.
9. He was the first to accept Remus even though he was a werewolf.
10. The only class he ever listens to was the one about the Animagus.
11. He was a playboy but Marlene was the only woman he ever loved romantically. He left her engagement ring to Harry after his death.
12. He knew 10 different languages 5 muggles and five magical, could dance as a professional and knew every etiquette rule possible he just didn't use them to piss his parents off.
13. If he wanted he could have taken his O.W.L and N.E.W.T in his second year and passed with flying colors.
14. Sirius was the kind of person who others trusted with his life or not at all and treason was the only thing he didn't forgive especially that to your friends.
15. When he showed his friends his Animagus form was the most loyal animal they weren't surprised while he was he never believed himself to be loyal.
16. He was always abused by his parents but at Christmas, after his first was the worsed when he returned to school Nirvana took into her own hands and only sent letters to Fleamont and Euphemia after he returned and she saw his condition.
17. Only Minerva and Remus know he was abused until he was sixteen and left home when Fleamont Potter discovered this he beat Orion Black breaking his nose and called Sirius his son.
18. Even if they brought problems at school they were the teachers' favorite students later they would share that place with the Golden Trio.
19. He didn't hate Snape at least not until he made Lily cry but he represented what his family wanted from him and Sirius know that was going to take him into the wrong path.
20. He only cried four times in his life. When James's parents died, when his uncle died, when James and Lily died and when Harry was born.
21. He never expected to be Harry's godfather.
22. The family he chose always reminded him he was a Black only by name.
23. Sirius never knew that the years Harry spend with him were the best of his life.
24. He would have been proud of his godson.
25. Harry named his firstborn son after him and so did James Sirius and every few generations there is a Sirius in the Potter family in reminders of Sirius Black.
26. While every member of his family wanted to be reminded in history he was the only one who achieved that.
