Hi guys! I normally won't start a new story since I haven't finished Different, but I wanted to get this story started! I can't take credit for this story, all the credit goes to Broken Song Lost In The Wind! I adopted it from her ;) Thanks Brokensong!

I'm posting the allegiances up and the prologue. Enjoy your first taste of Lie To Me!

Leader: Aspenstar- slender white she-cat with dark brown eyes

Deputy: Doebreeze- black and white tom with doe brown eyes

Medicine Cat: Sorrelfern- tortoiseshell and white she-cat

Warriors:

Foxtail- large russet tom with green eyes (Apprentice, Silverpaw)

Mothfang- light brown tabby tom with cold, distant blue eyes (Apprentice, Hawkpaw)

Wispfall- longfurred light gray tom with strange white eyes

Tigergaze- large dark brown tabby tom with golden eyes

Liongrowl- large golden furred tom with dark, deep sapphire blue eyes

Sapwing- cold, mistrusting gold and brown patched she-cat with golden gaze (Apprentice, Larkpaw)

Falconglare- bracken coloured tom with brilliant amber eyes (Apprentice, Dewpaw)

Sandrain- light sandy coloured she-cat with shy blue eyes

Petalstripe- light silver she-cat with black jagged stripes

Thunderblaze- large, hefty orange tom with piercing blue eyes

Hailstorm- small dark gray tom with blue eyes

Leafsplash- creamy brown she-cat with white paws and belly. Blue eyes.

Crystalrain- silvery blue she-cat with piercing green eyes

Sweetpine- light creamy brown tabby she-cat with blue eyes

Apprentices:

Silverpaw- pale silver tabby she-cat with a brilliant, piercing green gaze

Larkpaw- light brown tabby she-cat with minty green eyes

Hawkpaw- large russet tom with sharp blue eyes

Dewpaw- small, nimble cream she-cat with tinge of orange on pelt

Nightshimmer- smoky light gray tabby she-cat with large, deep green eyes (Mother to Falconglare's kits Smokekit and Ashkit)

Kits:

Smokekit- smoky gray tom with green eyes

Ashkit- black tom with a dark forest green gaze

Prologue

Silverpaw watched as Smokekit and Ashkit suckled, her green eyes wide with interest. Hawkpaw padded up to her. "Hi Silverpaw," he breathed. "Do you want to go out and train together sometime?" he murmured. Silverpaw hissed at him, flashing out a sleek pale silver paw, cuffing him over his ear.

"Can't you see I'm busy?" she snapped. Hawkpaw flinched, looking hurt, and slunk off. Nightshimmer raised her head, looking tired as Silverpaw snapped at her eldest son. Silverpaw ducked her head in apology, and continued watching Smokekit and Ashkit with newfound interest. Nightshimmer sighed and laid her head back.

"You can go now Silverpaw," the black queen meowed, an edge to her voice. Silverpaw nodded obediently and padded out of the den. She stormed towards the apprentices' den, shoving past her sister, Larkpaw, who emitted a startled mew. She padded into the den, green eyes flaring furiously as she stared straight at Hawkpaw, who was trembling under her gaze.

"What was that about, Hawkpaw?" she snarled, voice dangerously low. "You know not to come and ask a stupid question when I'm busy! And you know I train with Larkpaw and Dewpaw already, why should I train with another apprentice?" Snorting, she settled into her nest. Hawkpaw watched her with narrowed eyes. A strange, strangled kind of noise came from Hawkpaw's nest as he rose to his full height.

"You will regret this, Silverpaw," he snarled. "You will regret what you have done."
