So after the last Doctor Who episode I started to ship Whouffle.

Like, majorly ship whouffle.

So I did this, and I really loved writing it.

Enjoy!

A long time ago someone had asked him to show her the stars.

So that's what he did.

She wasn't the same girl as before, but it didn't matter to him.

When she asked him where he was taking them next, he didn't reply; just a quick wink with a mischievous smile. He'd push buttons and pull levers, making the impossible ship go to impossible places, driven by the impossible man with his impossible friend.

They would land and rush to the doors. He would push them open and she would look out. They would stand in the open doorway, hands clasped together as she saw the stars for the first time. Up close and personal.

He would look over at her, and notice the small, shimmering tear cascading down her cheek. He would notice her smile. That smile was even more beautiful to him than the scene in front of them.

She would look up at him; that impossible man.

She would stand on the tips of her toes and press a small kiss to his lips. He would notice it was over too soon, and then he would wipe the few small tears still lingering on her cheek. She would blush and rest her head on his shoulder.

"Why did you bring me here?" She would ask, her voice small and quiet. She talked as if she was scared to ruin the moment. But it didn't. And she was thankful.

"A long time ago someone asked me to show them the stars." He would say as he gently squeezed her hand. "So that's what I'm doing."

She would never find out who that someone was, but that didn't matter.

What would matter was the memory she took with her. How the stars were all different colors, contrasting with the blackness of the empty space. How her lips perfectly fit his.

How she always wanted to see the stars, but never asked.
