The dream
When Narnia was young, and in need of a ruler Frank had been kinged. He was a good and gentle king, having come from modest backgrounds. He ruled fairly and followed Aslan's guidance. The few words they had shared were a constant reminder to the king, on how to be the king Narnia needed. He taught the words to his children and when King Frank and Queen Helen died their children went out into the world and bore Aslan's teachings. The land was gentle and inviting until the bloodline of the first king was brought to its knees by the white witch. With their royals dead, she named herself queen of the Narnians. Her struggle to rule lasted for a hundred years, blanketing the entire land in snow and ice. It seemed as if she herself was crushing the land with her cold heart, blanketing it in a never ending winter. Not until the four Pevensies children. The battle against the white witch Jadis and her followers was a hard one, many lives were lost but Peter was the first into battle and this pleased Aslan. High King Peter, Queen Suzan, King Edmund, and Queen Lucy brought on another time of greatness. It was a golden age for Narnians, and after them King Cor and his queen, Aravis led Narnia, much like their predecessors. His son, King Ram the Great and later, Queen Swanwhite, who was known for her beauty, led the Narnians with fairness and kindness. Aslan watched from his own country and was pleased. When the Telmarines invaded his beloved Narnia, Aslan set things in motion. The battle between the Narnians and the otherworldly pirates lost many lives, much of the remaining Narnians were injured or killed. Peter had lost sight of his true goal, the protection and restoration of true Narnia. The battle, though bloody, ended in a victory. In the end, Aslan stepped in and finished the battle, as he had done in the war against the white witch. He was not the king, and did not have to be there for the entire battle, he did not have to oversee his people, his creations, but he would watch, and he would help, and he would love.
After Prince Caspian became ruler of the Narnians and of the Telmarines, he set out on a journey, that led Lucy, Edmund, and Eustace on a journey of dragons and sea monsters. Caspian and Ramandu's daughter marry and rule, as their predecessors, were just, and kind rulers. They loved their subjects, Narnian, Telmars, and the Queen's people that lived in the night sky. Caspian's son, Prince Rilian is lost and Aslan tells Eustace and Jill of their quest to find him. After rescuing the prince from the Lady of the Green Kirtle who is the queen of Underland. Rilian later calls Eustace and Jill back to Narnia for one last journey. Polly, Diggory, Frank, and Helen, the first to enter Narnia, joined Rilian, Eustace, Jill, Peter, Lucy, and Edmund. Though their efforts to save Narnia were valiant, failed.
The morning
Aslan led the Narnians to his country where all of those who were good in life joined them. Those lost in battle and those lost to time. Together, they lived in Aslan's country, in happiness, in peace.
"...and there was war, would you be the first in the charge and the last in the retreat?"
Aslan was the first into Narnia and the last out. He was the true king.
"The dream is ended: this is the morning."
