Just wanted to use this character once. He seemed to fit this scene considering he is a death God.
The Shinigami hovered just above the couple, whispering gentle words to the new-born child between them, the baby a spitting image of the father with the exception of the foxlike whisker marks on its cheeks. He stared uncertainly at the same family he was about to destroy, could he really do this?
No.
He couldn't.
And the reason why will surprise you all.
Slowly, the death God brought his hand up to the child's stomach, where the ink for the seal had been placed. Ignoring the parents' faces, he began forcing the Kyuubi's chakra into the child, allowing the parents' own chakra to mix with the demon's.
The two closed their eyes, awaiting death and an eternity within his stomach. Sighing, the Shinigami removed his hand, staring at the two with dull eyes, his form beginning to fade.
"W-what?"
Both humans stared up at him in confusion and uncertainty. Eyes widening as his form changed into that of a human, one they've both seen wondering the village. His monstrous figure began a young man with wild, spikey hair the color of the night sky, eyes the color of white-tinted brown bore at them from behind long, black bangs.
The Shinigami turned human stared at them with dead, dull eyes. (Not pun)
"There shall be no more death tonight." He stated his voice monotone without emotion, "Too many have died already…."
The man they knew as Artemis Meyer of Konoha walked away with one final statement, "Allow me to kill no more tonight."
