Hello! I am ever after sorry that I haven't written a lot lately. I've just been super busy xx But here is the first chapter of a new fic…. enjoy!
Duchess's POV
We sat on opposite sides of the bed, arms crossed. I was on the verge of tears. He was shouting.
"There's no need to cry" Daring yelled. I was about to reply, but instead I traded my arms for wings and shot out of the window. I would like to tell you what happened next, however, I feel you deserve an explanation of how I came to be in this mess…
My dress was white as a swan, layered like a cake with ruffles. Lilac and silver pearls adorned the strapless bodice. My hair hung in loose curls, with the black and lilac stripes separated. I laced up the front of my bodice using an off-white ribbon. Attached to my feet were black, heel-less ballet shoes complete with pink ribbon. My perfect day started now. I was marrying my one true love; Daring Charming. Our wedding went down smoothly. We danced through the night (well, I did. Daring dropped out after the 3rd slow song).
We had chosen to live in Charming Family Castle North East. The newest built castle. It had white marble columns, swirled with black and lilac. Some even with swans and swords engraved onto them. In true Charming style, Daring carried me up the stairs into our bedroom. Wow.
The room was large, complete with an en-suite bathroom and balcony. The bed was wooden, 4 posts, painted navy blue. Golden velvet was attached as curtains. This was perfect. He was perfect. Everything was perfect.
I changed into a pair of silk pants and a silk/lace vest top. Daring was visiting Dexter. I had asked not to, but apparently a Charming Family Tradition is to not sleep with the bride on the night of the wedding. I chose not to argue, fearing I would loose.
I woke up to Daring, stood topless, brushing his perfectly polished teeth.
"You're up late, Duchess" he managed to muffle.
"I know" I snapped back.
