It was 4 months since Alec had proposed to Magnus
Magus's POV
Hmmmm, which one? Oh the choice so hard! I turned to Isabelle to see what she thought "which one shall I chose honey?"It was a decision between a bow and a tie for Alec to wear for the wedding. "What are you wearing Magnus?" Izzy asked "That's the problem I was going to wear what Alec is!" I looked at the bow in my hand it was gold to symbolize the shadowhunters because the colour of a wedding was gold in their eyes considering white was for mourning, whereas the tie was just plain black not knowing which Alec would prefer. "Well I like the idea for the gold but don't know what Alec would think". "JUST GET FLIPPIN' THING AND LETS GO!" shouted Jace from the corner with a bored looking expression on his face "You know I still don't understand why you're here Herondale?" I asked Jace saying his last name as harshly as I could "I'm here for Alec so you don't pick some random rainbow suits, and to get my suit seeing as I'm the best man" in a slightly 'duh' tone "I really don't know what Clarissa sees in you" I said knowing that it annoyed him when I said her full name "HER NAME IS CLARY NOT CLARISSA!" he shouted whilst leaping off the couch to come and stand in front of me I just replied with "Speak of the devil and she shall appear" nodding my head in the doors direction and there she strolled in and took in the room her eyes setting on Jace standing rather close to me looking upset. She walked over to him and wrapped her skinny pale arms around her, she pulled away only to grab his hand and pull him away from me and plopped him down on the couch turning back to me with questions in eyes she pushed me in the back room.
Clary's POV
"What happened?" she asked quietly "I think I annoyed him by calling you by your full name" She was shaking her head before I finished and I might add she looked remarkably like Jocelyn when she did that with her arms crossed "No I have never see him like that there is something more" she began pacing the small room "Then it wasn't me because that's all I said but I was wondering why he overreacted"
Jace's POV
Why did I overreact like that? Oh yeah it's because stupid Sebastian is coming for us we are the final parts of the puzzle, but what puzzle? My thoughts were cut off when Clary came back in and to my relief she didn't look angry but she still hadn't talked to me since she walked in. Clary just walked over to me and I held my arms open she accepted this and sat down on my lap I tightened my grip on her and she looked up, I kissed her quite passionately if I do say so myself, she gasped and pulled back something of which she never did "What's the matter Jace?" oh god what am I meant to say? "Nothing I was just thinking about stuff" I said "You mean you were thinking about Sebastian?" Damn she's good I looked down "Yes I was" I saw Isabelle stiffen and Magnus give me a hard glare
