CHAPTER 1
This is my first Sherlock fanfiction story. For the first few chapters excpect Sherlock and John to be a little out of character. Enjoy and don't forget to R&R
'Bloody hell!' John thought as the school's tardy bell rang. That was the third time this week he was sure to get detention this time. He tried to get into his class as quietly as possible, but he could still feel the eyes of his peers on him. He ducked into his seat as the teacher rambled on.
Much later, at lunch, John had settled with the rest of the rugby team. The conversation didn't seem to have a topic, instead it jumped wildly. When the boy named Sherlock came in the talk took a whole new direction.
"What do we have here boys? Looks like the freak decided to eat today!" Snorted Mark, the rugby team's captain. John set his fork down with more force than necessary. That kid was the reason he had be showing up late lately. The boy held been stalking around his house. It had kept him startled enough that when he had finally fallen asleep it was about three in the morning. By the time he would wake up there was no possible way to get to school on time. Thanks to the freak he now had half an hour's worth of detention.
Turns out the freaky Holmes kid had gotten detention also. Luckily they had gotten one of the better teachers, , who only demanded you stay the whole thirty minutes and nothing else. Mark and the other guys on the team would be waiting for him to get out, but they would have to wait a minute more for John to get his well planned revenge.
When dismissed the students they all rushed out, John following right behind the freak. When they had reached the farthest corner of the campus John stopped the freak by putting his hand on the kid's shoulder. When the boy started to turn, without moving his left hand, he clocked the boy with his right. The boy fell from the force of the blow, allowing John to give him a quick and precise kick to the ribs with a satisfying 'crack'. John caught sight of Mark's car and climbed in.
The guys laughed and cheered him on for 'showing the freak his place'. Even so when he looked back to see the freak Holmes struggling to pick himself up while holding back tears, his stomach dropped with guilt.
