Prompt #358 from Tamingthemuse- Cartography

Note: From now on most of my Tamingthemuse stories will be named as the challenge.

"Care," Xander said as he placed down his tiles before picking up four new ones. "Six points, twelve with landing on the double!" Xander grinned proud of himself.

Spike grunted as he rearranged his tiles. He spent the next few minutes quiet as he looked over the board. Slowly a smile crossed his lips as he began to place quite a few tiles down. "Using the 'c' you just placed and graph you put down four turns ago I can spell cartography," Spike said in triumph. "Twenty-two points!" He quickly wrote down his score. So far he was beating Xander by a hundred and two points. Of course he felt bad for beating his lover so badly but the competitor in him was extremely happy.

"Cart-o-graph-y," Xander sounded out the word. It was something he learned back in his school days. It was something that had once bothered Spike but he'd grown used to it. Confused he looked up at Spike. "I challenge it."

Looking insulted Spike said, "You don't trust me?"

"I trust you to have my back on patrol, and I trust you to not break my heart but when it comes to games… no I trust you as far as I can throw you. And since you're a supped up vampire and I'm just a human it wouldn't be far," Xander answered truthfully.

Spike couldn't argue with that. He grabbed the dictionary and passed it to Xander and waited while Xander found the word.

A few minutes later Xander found the word and carefully read the definition. Finally with a nod of acceptance he closed the book. "Okay," he said with a sigh.

Seeing Xander unhappy Spike started to put the game away. "Let's play something else," Spike said as he pulled out a deck of cards.

"What game?" Xander asked looking suspiciously at his lover.

With a wicked grin Spike replied, "Strip poker."

Twenty-five minutes later Xander was left with his Tweety bird boxers.

"Full house!" Spike said excitedly as he laid his cards down.

"Damn," Xander muttered as he stood and removed his boxers. He always lost at strip poker.

Spike grabbed Xander and bent him over the kitchen table before pushing into him.

Okay so maybe lost wasn't the right word. Xander held onto the table as Spike gave him one hell of a ride. Oh yeah lost definitely wasn't the right word when it came to strip poker.

The End
