"San, why don't you believe in God?" Brittany asked her one evening.
"I don't know, Britt-Britt," Santana replied. "I guess I've just never seen a reason to. I guess I terrorize people to be a Christian. I don't know if He would accept me."
Brittany looked down. "But He accepts everyone. Even you. Especially the you that talks to me. Sweet Santana."
Santana smiled at her softly. "You know why I don't believe in God, Britt-Britt? Because I don't need him to be strong. I just need you to be strong."
"I knew that terrorizing people wasn't the real reason," Brittany smiled.

Why was everything crashing around her? It felt like she was stuck at the bottom of an avalanche. The glee club had called her out for being a bitch last week, and although she'd never admit it, it was the one place she truly felt safe in the school.
But it wasn't only that, she decided. It was the fact that even though Brittany had comforted her, she hadn't stood up for her. But then again, since when was Brittany able to stand up for anyone?
Maybe it would get better. She would get older - heck, she was now. It would be okay soon. But right now, she just needed her best friend and secret lover: Brittany.
"I need you," she whispered out into the darkness, but nobody heard her.

Brittany couldn't get through a make-out session with Santana without feeling like she wanted to cry. She yearned to yell out "I love you. Why don't you love me back?"
But what Brittany didn't know was that Santana did indeed love her back. Each of them gave each other life. Santana didn't have the courage, and neither did Brittany.
Until one day, she finally had the courage. Santana worked on her usual routine of working a hickey onto the side of Brittany's neck.
"I love you!" she strangled out.
"You have no idea how long I've been waiting for you to say that," Santana concluded. "I love you too."
"You're my beloved, San."
She smiled. "You're my beloved too, Britt-Britt."

Brittany walked by the pond, watching the ducks. She wished that Santana were there.
I'm just stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Brittany thought to herself, wishing Santana was there to say differently. But no, Santana wanted to stay away from Brittany. "I'm not making out with you because I'm in love with you."
Those words still stung. We're not going to get through this time, Brittany thought.

Santana has two different personalities. Bitchy Santana was the most portrayed, but only Brittany knew the Sweet Santana that appeared occasionally with her.
They were both without each other's true love. They needed each other. Badly. If only Brittany could make it through the multiple personalities of one Miss Santana Lopez, they would be fine.
But what Brittany didn't know was that somewhere Santana was writing a letter to her.
Dear Brittany,
I love you, I'm so sorry for the time that I've ever been a bitch to you. I love you so much. I need you. Please say you love me back...
Brittany smiled to herself. "I love you back."
A/N: Yes, two of these songs were Christian songs. (Tenth Avenue North is a Christian band in case you didn't know.) However, I believe that music is versatile, so... Also, the fact that there are two Glee Cast songs on here in a row is a coincidence. I probably have too many Glee songs. LOL.
