"I miss you." Kagome muttered silently against her pillow. It has been only two days since she was sent back home and she figured out she couldn't go back. She spent the last twenty four hours trying to claw her way back but nothing would work. She gently touched her lips. She can still feel InuYasha on them. Their second and last kiss. The last time they would ever be in each other's arms.

She started crying. "Oh InuYasha!" She yelled into her pillow, hitting it as if doing so would give her strength not to cry. "Why did this happen?!" Her tears wouldn't stop, but instead multiplied. "Why do you have to be so far away from me?!" She bit the fabric and cried even more. "I miss you! I miss you! I really fucking miss you!" She cussed for the first time in years that night. "I need you! I thought you wouldn't leave me! You lied!" She a used her pillow, biting and scratching it.

"I thought..." She said, as if praying. "That last fight would've fixed everything. I thought I had made the right wish… I suppose I was wrong." She snuggled against her pillow. "I love you, InuYasha..." She whispered sullenly.

A few years later she still spent her nights crying to her lost love. Then that day came. She could finally get to him. She crossed over and met him there. There he was. The most perfect creature in the world. He helped her out the well and held her close. "Where've you been this whole time, stupid?" He smiled. She said nothing but kissed him deeply. Oh how she longed to feel him near again! "InuYasha!" She yelled, sobbing loudly, hiding on to his robe. "I missed you so much!" She held him as close as possible. "Please don't leave me!" A fain. Lush hit her cheeks and he kissed her head and said "I wouldn't dream of it, Kagome."
