It was far too quiet that night, it was the first sign that he knew that there was something wrong, even over the raging thunderstorm outside, he just knew deep down somewhere that something wasn't right. The young silver head let his dark sapphire eyes wander around his darken small room, his two brothers were already asleep; even through the loud thunder and crackling lightning. Could they not have sensed anything like he had? Then again, it was storming and he could never sleep if it was raining, the rain made it hard for him to sleep it scared him more than anything.
He didn't know why he decided to get out of his warm bed, but before he knew he was moving he was already opening the large wooden door; as quietly as he could, hoping that the door didn't squeak loudly and wake up his sleeping brothers. Slipping out of the small crack he had made in the door he made his way out into the long hallway, something still didn't feel right and he needed to know what it was; this house was never like this. He bit his bottom lip, shutting the door behind him before his eyes darted back and forth; everything seemed to be okay here.
A loud roar of thunder before a loud crackle of lightning followed, illuminating the whole house and making his dark sapphire eyes grow wide in fear; he hated storms. His footsteps were slow and quiet, he didn't want to wake anyone up in case he was wrong with his thoughts, rain poured loudly against the house making any noise impossible to hear; how was he going to make it to the end of this long hallway?
"M-Mom?" The silver head said quietly, the odd tension growing even more than it had been, his voice shook just a bit in fear, it was a soft whisper at that almost like he was afraid to speak to loudly. He stopped at the corner, before letting his head peak around it slowly almost as if he was afraid of what could be on the other side. He bit his lip, it was dark but his sapphire eyes could make out the small figure it looked oddly familiar. "M-Mom?" He repeated softly, hopeful that his eyes were only playing tricks on him.
His body froze in fear, before he noticed he was taking slow steps across the wooden floor to the middle of the room, could she have fallen asleep on the floor? It wasn't like her to do that, maybe he should have turned back? He wasn't sure what to do, his body stopped in front of her and when she didn't move it made him worry; why was she acting like this? "M-Mom?" He said once more, afraid. She wasn't responding or even making an attempt to look like she was alive.
His dark eyes picked up the dark color around her, he hadn't seen it across the room but just now, now that he was close enough to see her features; it was a deep color that he couldn't make out very well. Hesitating for a moment he bent down onto his knees, looking at the object on the ground; his eyes were growing heavy. It took him a moment, to make out the darken color to see what it was… blood.
This dark color seemed to be all around her, she couldn't be dead… could she? It made no sense, no one had hated the young woman yet here she was before him, dead. He was afraid more than anything, his dark eyes looked away before he slowly stood up sapphire eyes welding with a bit of tears; how did he tell them?

"Shit." The silver head sat up quickly from his bed, deep sapphire eyes slowly looking around the room that was so much different than it should have been; it was only a nightmare. His breaths were uneven, they were a bit fast and quick, this nightmare it had been a long time since he had had it. It had only been a dream; there was no reason to be afraid. "I have nothing to worry about, it was only a nightmare…" The words a mutter, this is why he hated the idea of sleep; he could never sleep a night without it coming to haunt him.
