"I don't need help from filthy little Mudbloods like you"

Her eyes widened in shock, her heart froze. He just said it. The "M" word. The last word she thought would ever pass from his lips to her ears. For Merlin's sake, she would have bet money that Potter would have called her that horrendous word before Sev. Her Sev.

As the "M" word continued to ring through her ears, shattering her heart, her lips curled in a vicious smirk. And suddenly her notorious temper overcame her devastated heart.

"Fine," she said coolly. "I won't bother in the future. And I'd wash my pants if I were you, Snivellus."

A few more words were exchanged between her and Potter, her temper being turned toward him. Then unable to cope anymore, she twirled on her heel, her red hair and robes flying behind as she marched away, daring anyone to get in her way.

Each step echoed with her anger. Anger at Sev. Lord Voldemort. Potter.

Slowly her anger burned out, as her sadness drowned the fiery flames of her anger.

Her mind whirled with everything that had happened between her and Sev in the past. Remembering the tiny stabs in the back from the past year, as he grew more distant, leading to the dagger that had plunged through her heart today. The dagger that shattered the bond between the two forever.

Her Sev was gone, replaced by the monster named Snape.
