I'm using the 100 Themes Challenge I posted on my Deviantart pages to gige you guys some drabbles. Characters I'll probably be using the most are Cecil, Golbez, Zidane, Cloud, Terra, the Warrior of Light, Garland, and other minor characters.
Expect humor, expect angst, and expect lots of parody. This is me we're talking about, and my life is serious enough as it is.
Sadly, I don't own Dissidia. It would've been a lot better if I did.
63. Music
"Hey, can anyone here sing?" Tidus randomly asked one day.
The others all shot him quizzical looks, pondering where this random and slightly absurd thought had come from. "I sometimes specialize as a bard," Bartz was the first to answer.
Soon enough, the conversation started to flow more easily.
"My girlfriend can sing!" Zidane bragged. "Her voice is gorgeous!"
"Mine can sing, too! She's a professional!" countered Tidus.
"A friend of mine once sang in the opera," Terra said, though Zidane and Tidus were too busy arguing to notice.
"Yuna is the best!" Tidus shouted.
"No, Dagger is!"
Squall interjected at this point. "You manage to hold down a girlfriend?"
"...Yes?"
"It's a miracle!" Bartz cried to the heavens. "Zidane kept his flirt tendencies to a minimum and is dating a girl!"
"HEY! I'm not that bad!"
"I don't sing," Cloud muttered, trying to get everyone to veer away from this topic.
"But I've heard you sing in the shower," poor, innocent Terra said, with everyone listening. Cloud seethed inwardly; he couldn't exactly kill Terra of all people later!
Thr crew continued to chatter about who had the most melodious voice, some arguing that One person was noticeably staying out of the chitchat, and after awhile the others took notice. "What about you, Cecil?"
Up until then, the others had assumed the paladin had been deep in thought, but when he lifted his head up they realized he was barely holding in laughter. "I'm surrounded by spoony bards," he said, to everyone's confusion, and then he burst into a ridiculous fit of giggles.
Yeah, it's lame, but I didn't know what else to do. I'm just covering these in random order and this one piqued my interest.
