A/N- This is not my usual style. It's not funny, it's sad! But I wanted to do a "tribute to Sirius". The poem is based on the poem and idea by Harmonic Friction. Also, she sort of beta-ed mine. You should go read hers too, it's really good. Anyway, I hope mine isn't too bad! R/R please!

A/N- It's not slash, although you can interpret it as if you want to. Either way, R/R! Also, I'm still not accepting the fact that he's dead in most of my fics, of course.

Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter. I also don't own Sirius or Lupin. If I did, Sirius would still be alive!

*~*~*Supernova*~*~* by BeachBum754

The rain is pounding in my head

Sirius, how could you be dead?

I loved you, loved you like a brother

You weren't the same as any other

Yesterday, it only seems

We sat at Hogwarts, sharing dreams

You wanted to fall in love, and marry

Later all you wanted was to help Harry

Well, Padfoot, you got damn far

And you left us a supernova star

You were always oh-so-cool at school

Even if you were a fool

Your smile, black hair round your face

The way you always walked with grace

And now you're gone with nothing left

But pictures, dusty on the shelf

Padfoot, how could you leave hiding?

You always let your heart do the deciding.

And in the spotlight, you always were

You always had to play the star

Oh yes, you might as well admit

You left, and now you're dead, you git!

Beyond the veil where you now lay

I'll miss you till my dying day.

Yes Sirius, you're sorely missed

It's hard for some to just exist

But you were a hero, and you fought well

And Bellatrix can go to hell

Sirius Black, what you did was right

Our supernova star shone bright last night.
