AN: This is a sort of angsty/ unreciprocated love oneshot featuring Albus Potter, Rose Weasley, and Scorpius Malfoy. Fun, right? Kind of slash… yet not slash, if that makes any sense. Just in time for Valentines Day! Hahaha! So, if you like it, review. If not, well, do whatever you want.

He hated weddings, absolutely, without a doubt, hated them. He wasn't just some cranky old fool, hating things just to have something to hate, oh no. He had his reasons, one very specific reason, to be exact: Scorpius Malfoy.

He didn't hate all weddings equally, there had been a few he had almost enjoyed, but he for sure hated this one, from the bottom of his heart. If he still had one, that is. He sat at the back watching the happy couple make their way around the Weasley's backyard, thanking everyone for coming. It wouldn't be long before they got to him. He was not looking forward to it.

The bride looked beautiful, he had to admit it. Rose Weasley, - no, wait, her name wasn't Weasley anymore- Rose Malfoy, that is, looked absolutely stunning in her dress, and yet, he found he didn't care. He only had eyes for the groom. But sadly, the feelings were unreturned.

Suddenly Rose looked up from the people she had been speaking to, her eyes lighting up. She grabbed her new husband's hand and began to drag him towards the back.

No, no, no, no! Go away! He wanted to scream at them, jump up and run in the other direction. But he hadn't been raised that way; his parents had made sure of that. He would just have to sit there and pretend like everything was fine, pretend he was happy for the both of them, all while slowly dying inside.

Rose walked up and embraced him, like she hadn't seen him in thousands of years. In all reality she had seen him only a few months before.

"Albus! I'm so glad you could make it! It's lovely to see you! I'm so glad you got to be with us on our special day!" Albus ranted away on the inside.

Shut up, shut up, shut up!

His fake smile was plastered on his face; he was determined not to let anyone know how he really felt about this 'special day'. Scorpius clapped Albus on the shoulder while his bride prattled on.

Don't touch me! Don't touch me! Don't touch me!

Still, he said nothing to either one.

Rose glanced around at all the other people around her and turned back to her cousin. "We have to go see more people now, Al." She turned around and walked away with Scorpius, waving over her shoulder. "We'll see you later!" Or maybe you won't.

He sat back down on his chair, remaining there for the rest of the night. He watched as couples glided across the dance floor, moving in time with the music. He didn't dance, he refused to. There was only one person in the world that Albus wanted to be with, and that person was never, ever going to feel the same about him.

Albus Potter only wanted Scorpius Malfoy, and now, Scorpius was happily married to his cousin. The world could be so cruel.
