"Hey, what're you doing?" inquired Sam as he walked into Dean's room.
"'m watching a marathon of the Halloween movies," Dean replied around a mouthful of chocolate.
"Seriously? I thought you hated those."
"Yeah, well, it was on, and it's not like I can do anything much anyway." Dean waved his casted left arm in the air and then pointed to his splinted left ankle. He popped another snack-sized candy bar in his mouth.
Sam eyed the plethora of candy wrappers littering the area around his brother then peeked in the bowl on Dean's lap. "Wait—don't tell me that that's all the candy we have left?!"
"Mmmm...maybe..."
"Dean, we bought ten bags!"
"I know. Didn't eat it all at once."
"Well, I was gonna ask if you wanted lunch but...never mind."
"I could eat..."
"After all that candy?"
Dean patted his belly. "Sure. There's room."
"Fine. I'll make us some sandwiches. Just save me all of those Kit Kats that are left. And the Twix too."
"Aw, man. That doesn't leave me much."
"Right. Only the Snickers, Milky Way, Mars, Baby Ruth, Reeses, M&Ms. You're gonna starve."
