Albus was very warm except for his chest. Searching for heat, Albus turned. Satisfied that he was warm, he snuggled deeper under the covers and into the space heater-like thing in his bed.
Then an arm draped itself over his waist, and a hand splayed across his back. A warm hand, but a strange hand nonetheless.
Peeking one eye open, Albus found he was pressed against a gorgeous creature lying in his bed.
Like an artist, Albus studied the form in front of him with his eyes and fingertips.
The hipbones. He couldn't stop tracing the boy's hipbone.
Looking up again, Albus found that the blond was watching him with a small smile on his lips.
"Don't let me stop you," he said, eyes twinkling mischievously.
Albus smiled and leaned up to kiss the blond. It was their first kiss, but it didn't feel like it. It felt natural. Normal. Incredible.
"I'm sorry," Albus said.
"I know."
"I love you."
"I know," Scorpius replied with a smile.
"Do you forgive me?" Albus asked.
"Yes."
"Do you love me?"
Scorpius sighed and rolled his eyes at the grinning raven-haired boy. "If I didn't love you, you'd be dead from the hypothermia, and you would have gone out of this world an unforgiven man."
"Ah," Albus replied. "I see."
"We should get dressed now."
"I'll get up if you let go of me," Albus said.
That was probably a lie.
"Maybe we should just skip breakfast?" he suggested.
Albus raised an eyebrow. "Sleeping in is not your style, Scorpius Malfoy."
"I don't normally have a handsome man in my bed."
"This is my bed."
"Our bed."
"Maybe."
"I hate you."
"False."
"True."
"Oi!" a roommate yelled. "Could you lot shot up so the rest of us can sleep? Bloody hell."
