Sakura was running through her neighborhood not looking back at him even once. "Sakura! Slow down! I can explain!" Sasuke shouted while running after her. The moonless darkness of the night encased them. 'I will NOT cry! If I do I won't stop.' Sakura had thought to herself. The ground was slick from the ongoing rain. Sakura gained speed only to slip and collapse onto the cold and wet ground. She lays on the sidewalk silently. She see's Sasuke's running silhouette coming towards her. 'Stand in the rain. . .Stand your ground. . .Stand up when it's all crashing down. . .Stand through the pain, you won't drown. . .' Inner sang inside Sakura's head as Sakura stood up and faced Sasuke. "I'm sorry." Was all she said as she fell forward. Sasuke caught her and kneeled on the ground hugging her tightly. "Me too."
