Hi guys! This is my first story about these two characters. Sorry if the parts of the story about the rescue are a little rough and not very detailed. My focus is more on the relationship between these two, but wanted to make the scenes fit the storyline. Go Bellarke! 3
As they marched towards their target, Mt. Weather, Clarke started thinking about the people she would soon see. Her people. The people she had sacrificed so many lives for and risked the lives of many others for. The people she was about to fight for. The people she was about to go to war for. She loved them all. Every single one of them. And now, they were going to be saved.
Once inside, the huge army of Grounders and Arkers were met by an army of mountain men and the fighting began before either side had a chance to evaluate the enemy's numbers. Swords and bullets were slicing through the air, however, the only thought on Clarke's mind was her people. The ones she was here to save. Bellamy had told her about their people's whereabouts and due to her prior knowledge of the insides of Mt. Weather, she quickly found her way to the floor where her people were hiding. Bellamy had made sure that the non-supporters of Cage were informed about Clarke and who she was so that they would know they could trust her.
Maya's father, who had helped hide her people, showed her to them. It was safe to come out since all the guards were busy, trying to defend their mountain. Jasper was the first person Clarke saw.
"Clarke!" said Jasper happily and gave her a hug. "I'm so sorry, Clarke."
"What for, Jasper?" replied Clarke, looking puzzled.
"For calling you crazy last I saw you. You were right. It was too good to be true," Jasper said with tears filling his eyes.
"Jasper, it's okay. I may seem a little crazy sometimes;" replied Clarke with a quick and quiet laugh. "But right now, we have to get everyone out of here. So gather everyone and get out now!"
Jasper did as Clarke asked and hurriedly gathered everyone and made their way to the escape route they had been exploring when they thought no one was coming for them. That's when it hit her, Bellamy was nowhere to be seen. "Jasper, where is Bellamy?" Clarke asked, nearly panicking.
"I have no idea. I haven't seen him in a while," Jasper replied, worry present on his face. Clarke then started off in the other direction. "Where are you going, Clarke?" Jasper yelled.
"I have to find Bellamy. It's my fault he's in here. I have to find him. He might be hurt."
And with that, she was out of sight.
