Surprising soul mates
After Edward returned Bella though everything would go back to normal but soon he made it clear that they were not back together. Fed up with being played, Bella decided to leave Forks and attend high school in Pheonix. She went on to get her major in English and ended up celebrating a little to hard and falling into bed with someone. It was a one night stand with lasting affects.
She found herself pregnant and though it was hard at first she adjusted. However, shortly after her son was born she found out Victoria was hunting her when one of the nurses that helped deliver her son was brutally murdered. Desperate she sought help from a vampire that could shield others. He wouldn't do it for free though and demanded she be changed.
Seeing no other option she agreed and after showing remarkable control she was soon beginning a new life with her son. Despite this she constantly moved them to be safe.
Seventeen years later and they find themselves living in the same town as the Cullens. Things have changed though. Alice found her soul mate, a rare event, and now Jasper is alone. Bella's son doesn't know about vampires or her past and soon finds himself falling for the mysterious 'Jasper Hale.'
The Cullen are shocked to find out that Bella is living in the same town, is now a vampire, and has a son. They all, except Edward, attempt to reconcile with her but after her rejection agree to leave her and her son alone. This doesn't last long though as an incident occurs that reveals Bellas son is Jaspers true mate.
After that anything that happens around or during the events is up to you.
