A/N: This has been in my head for way to long!
Sometimes When Kyon wakes up in the middle of the night, Koizumi isn't in their bed. Sometimes Koizumi is standing by the window, light blue shades open, looking out, into what, Kyon isn't sure. Those times, Kyon doesn't bother him. He knows that Koizumi's been through some stuff, and even though Kyon isn't sure what said stuff precisely is, Kyon is going to do what he can to always support his boyfriend. Kyon doesn't always have the fancy words to make everything sound nice and neat, but the general idea is that he loves Koizumi and he knew what he was getting into when their relationship.
Sometimes Koizumi is just sitting up in bed. Those times Kyon wraps his arms around Koizumi's waist and whispers 'Don't go'. For some reason Koizumi seems farther away when he's sitting next to Kyon. When Koizumi is physicaly away from him it's like he has an excuse for their distance, but when they're together and Kyon still feels like he can't do anything, well that really hurts. Even though He has a hard time saying it without letting some well practiced sarcasm seep into his voice Kyon really thinks he's in love with Koizumi.
And so, when Koizumi stands and looks out into a place that Kyon doesn't understand Kyon respects it. And when Kyon mutters 'Don't go' into Koizumi's hip, Koizumi answers with a completely sincere 'I love you'.
