windy seas Okay, you should be used to this by now, so do I have to warn you that this has yuri? I mean, hello! This is Haruka and Michiru we're talking about here! But it shouldn't bother y'all anyway, because they're really a couple, and they're so cute besides! This is, strange enough, in Neo-Queen Serenity's POV, thinking of Uranus and Neptune while watching the sea.

This was inspired by Jessica R Vance's "A Friend Gone Love" although I don't know how. I owe this to you, JRV, therefore this is dedicated to you ^ _ ^. What you'd want with a SM fic I don't know, but it's dedicated to you anyway.

Windy Seas

I sit on the balcony of the palace, and look out to the sea. Waves crash to the shore and go back out again, only to crash again in another few seconds. The wind and the sea do go together, like the Moon and the Earth, the ground and the sky. Thinking of the wind and the sea gets me to thinking about the outers. How are they? I haven't seen them for a while, and I know Chibi-Usa missed Saturn. They'd become good friends, it was obvious to see.

But, although I hate to admit it, I like Neptune and Uranus the best. Perhaps it's the wind and the sea thing again, but I don't know. They're so attached to each other, they're the only ones who could possibly understand my bond with King Endymion. The last time I had seen them was when they gave a concert for Mercury's birthday. When they play together, nothing seems to stop them, and they always seem to know what the other is thinking. If one changes the tune or the song, the other does immidiatly after.

I turn to go back inside as it begins to rain. On my way back downstairs, to where Endymion and Chibi-Usa were probably waiting for me, I paused to look at the painting on my west wall. It was a picture of what the sea looked like now, only it didn't seem to be anywhere on Earth. The waves were greenish blue, and the sand was yellowish, like normal. But what was by the beach was the most beautiful scenery I'd ever layed eyes on. Although it was dark and stormy, you could tell the flowers and ferns were all greenish blue, some more green and some more blue than others. I'd admired this painting since I found it here, but I'd never known who painted it. I looked closer, and saw the name of the painting, the date, and the name of the painter at the bottom, in jet black paint.
