I heard the following two lines and couldn't resist a jarly one-shot.

Jason - It's a page right out of your book Carly!

Carly - It is isn' t it….if I wasn't so worried I'd be proud!

Carly's POV- Got to admit this isn't what I wanted for our girl…but what was I too expect with our genes.

I think of Lulu sometimes as the ill' girl me & Jase would have had. And so far the Spencer gene has definitely run rampant. "sigh" if it really was our kid there would be a some Morgan common sense show but there's not.

Jason' s POV- that girl really is a mini Carly. (rubs temple) Me & Car never got together or had our baby girl…I have to keep telling myself . Every time Lulu does something like this I jump right in with both feet like she is my ill' girl.

I glance over at Carly and know she is thinking the same! But I can't voice the fact that even fate or whatever Car calls it hints at us being together.

" Don't say it Carly!"

"Oh come on Jason, I know you were thinking the same thing. "

"It won't change a thing"

" Really ? You know fate is throwing it in our faces once again that we should be together !" Carly rants coming closer.

Jason feels his heart beat faster.

" Lulu is our ill' girl! Even fate wouldn't let us not have her in our lives regardless of biology."

"Carly, please!"

"You know it's true so , why do you run?" she asks as she places a hand to his cheek.

Why?

He thinks to himself as he looks into the eyes of his once lover & best friend. Why do I run when I always end up right back here …staring into the eyes of the mother of my children. Which she is in every sense of the word! Michael, Morgan, Lulu, even Jake if I gave her half the chance. She would mother them all & I would vow as always to be her hero.

Glancing up once more his heart about bursting from his chest he gives her the smile only she elicits from him. And finally says the words that frightened him for so long.

" I'm not anymore!"

Of course Carly doesn't do anything expected and says "It's about damn time. Now let's get out of here & take care of our girl!" I can't help but lean over & finally kiss my soul mate.

Damn I can't ever let her know how right she was.

Carly kisses him back then starts for the door looking back & giving him a wink. " Come on Jase plenty of time later to tell me how right I was! Now let's go take care of our family!"
