Jack glared angrily at his reflection..so goddamned ugly. Stuck on the damned island 3 years now. 3 birthdays had passed by . He was now 15 years old , and still hideous.Jack had grown taller, red hair long still , but curling slightly; but his blade could fix that.His blue eyes were harder , still harshly angry with himself and others. Jack ran his calloused fingertips over the dirt smudge on his cheekbone. Sighing, he applied the red war paint over eyelids and an arrow down his cheek.He had adored the war markings since his first time in the island. A good mask. The others could copy him , but it could never mean the same to them as it did for him. Jack could hide his behind it..He was ugly and he knew it. Inside he knew he was grtesque. Ralph feared him . His comrade were withdrawn.All but Roger..he smiled slightly.Roger was beautiful .But, isndie, they were the same. Roger was ugly like him...
Roger glared at the reflection he saw in the bathing pool. Ugly ugly ugly! He grasped the limp black hair hanging in his face. An angry tear slipped out as he punched the water, and ; in the process, making it ripple and almost falling in. He regained his balance and sniffled at his patheticness. Roger as so very angry insde. Angry with his looks , angry with himself for feeling for jack , angry for feeling so alone, angry for having any feelings at all.Roger attmpeted to be a masked man. Hidings any emotions besides anger and apparent sadism. He wanted so badly to have no feelings.But Jack had changed that.Jack made him feel...alive. But, he knew that inside,they were the same.Jack may be beautiful outside, but inside; Jack was ugly like him...
