Prologue

Maria Perez stared out the window petting her cat Christina. It was a rainy day in
Mexico City, one of those days you just don't feel like doing anything. "I wish we
didn't have to move Christina, but we have to, and its not fair why can't we just
live in Mexico City, I was be happy, you would be happy, Josie would be happy,
Carlos would be happy," Maria started," But its not about them is it?" The calico
cat licked Maria's hand because she stopped petting her. A strike of lighting came
crashing through the center of Maria's bedroom. Yet, no hole seemed to in her roof.
A shadow of a woman with a staff appeared. "Maria Perez, do not be afraid, I am Sailor
Pluto and I have come to tell you your destiny," the figure said. Maria was speechless, she
just stared at Sailor Puto. " I know you must be frightened, but I need you to help me," Sailor
Pluto expalined," You are one of 3 gaurdians of the galaxy, I need you to help me find the other
two gaurdians, the gaurdians of Solar and Lunar." Then what gaurdian am I of?" Maria asked
no longer scared. " You my dearest are the gaurdian of the Astral," Sailor Puto replied.
"So I gaurd stars and stuff," Maria said finally understanding the strange figure. "Yes Maria,"
Sailor Pluto started, "But I fear I might have come too late, for you see there is a strange evil power,
the strongest I've ever seen and the Scouts alone can't take it." "Who are the scouts?" Maria asked
"Oh, dear child, you have so much to learn," Sailor Pluto said.
