"Has anyone seen Santana? West Side Story opens tomorrow and we need to practice!" Rachel yelled, storming off stage. Everyone whined. Rachel, of course, was being a diva. But, it wasn't like Santana to skip rehearsal. She was almost as excited for West Side Story as Rachel.
"Can someone please go find Santana?" Will sighed. "Take five, everyone."
"Where's Santana?" Tina asked Quinn.
"I don't know. I haven't seen her all day, actually." Quinn said with a frown. She took out her phone and to see if she had any new messages from her girlfriend, Santana.
Quinn and Santana had been dating since the second week of school. Santana had talked to Quinn about her new look and new attitude. She told Quinn how she missed the old Quinn, and that things weren't the same without her.
"I really miss you, Quinn." Santana had said. That really made Quinn stop and think about everything. Santana missed her, and Quinn missed Santana. She was all Quinn thought about all summer.
"I just thought things between you and me would change this year." Santana said.
"I love you Quinn. And I want to be with you. You're everything I've ever wanted, Q." Then, they kissed. It was magical, and passionate, and they both saw fireworks. Something Santana had never experienced before.
Quinn smiled to herself, thinking about their first kiss. But she quickly snapped out of it.
"Quinn! Santana is your girlfriend, so go find her! West Side is tomorrow!" Rachel practically screamed.
"Ok, I'm on it." Quinn said.
"She's probably with those damn Troubletones." Rachel mumbled, and walked away.
Quinn walked into the hallway and started checking the rooms for Santana franticly. If she didn't come back with her, Rachel was going to kill her!
"Santana? Santana?" Quinn called. Then she stopped at the choir room door. Santana was in there, her back to the door.
"Santana, what are you doing? Everyone's looking for you." Quinn entered the room. Santana turned around, revealing her tear-filled eyes.
"San. What's wrong?" Quinn asked.
"You're leaving." Santana said.
"What are you talking about?"
"I went over to your house to drop off some things for your West Side Story costume. When I got there, your mom told me about how you got into a college. In California." Santana said.
"Santana I can explain."
"Why didn't you tell me?" Santana shouted.
"I was waiting for the right time."
"The right time to what? Break-up with me?" Santana said.
"No. Santana I would never break-up with you."
"You're going to be in California and I'm going to be here in Lima. It won't work." Santana said, tears running down her cheeks.
"Then come with me! Come with me to California. My mom and dad are buying me an apartment. You could live with me. We could live together." Quinn smiled, taking Santana's hands in her own.
"Really?"
"Of course. I love you Santana, and I refuse to live without you. You're my everything." Quinn said, and then slowly kissed Santana.
Santana pulled away and wiped her eyes.
"Come on, let's get back to rehearsal." Quinn said, holding out her hand.
Santana smiled, and took Quinn's hand.
