So, excited to be coming back to Degrassi?" Fiona asked staring across the backseat at Declan. "I still have to decide if I'm back for good, Fi. Right now I'm just visiting. And besides, you know Vanderbilt is my fast track to Yale," He said, trying not to make eye contact with his sister. "Whatever just do me a favor and win Holly J back. I'm tired of seeing you mope around because you lost her," She said, hitting a nerve. "That's all you ever think about, isn't it Fiona?" The truth is, all he was able to think about was winning Holly J back. Their conversation was cut short as the car pulled in front of Degrassi Community School. Here goes nothing and everything, Declan thought to himself stepping out of the car.
Declan and Fiona make their way up to the front desk at the school to see Mr. Simpson fumbling with papers. "Mr. Simpson! We have a very important visitor that needs a very important visitor pass!" Fiona said barely keeping her excitement to have her brother back at bay. "Declan! Good to see you backs" Simpson's attempts at trying to keep cool and have a conversation were failing miserably, "I'll get that pass for you in just a minute. I have to write up some referrals first." Declan simply smiled and said, "Take your time, no rush here."
Fiona turned to her brother as Simpson walked away, "I have to get to French. Meet me for lunch, okay? And do not be late." She turned around and headed up the stairs. He was staring off into space when he heard the door to Simpson's office open. He turned his head to see who was getting in trouble today, just to have his mind stopped at what was before him. He'd never seen her before, but she was beautiful, even with the dark cloud of attitude hanging over her head. She saw Declan look at her and immediately took offense. "What are you looking at?" her voice dripped with anger. Declan knew just how to deal with girls like this, "I don't know. You tell me. I'm Declan." She eyed him suspiciously. She wasn't used to this, usually when she turned her bitch on, people just ran for the hills. Not this guy, he just looked at her in the most nonchalant way possible. "I'm Bianca," she finally said, "Do you go here? You don't look familiar." Declan tried to keep his cool, you have to with girls like this. "Used to. Considering transferring back." Bianca just stared, she couldn't figure out what it was about this guy, "Cool. So..I'll see you around?" He broke and let a little smile out, "I guess you will." Bianca walked past him and down the hall, leaving her questioning and him at a lost for words.
Declan stood there in the front hallway, still unsure what just happened and what he just felt. He could only do one thing. So he pulled out his phone, went to contacts, and sent a text to his sister. "Hey Fi, I might be coming back for good after all.
