When Sam woke up after a nightmare, he was too alarmed and sweating. He gulped and stood up, walking to the bathroom to wash his face. Only when he saw his own face on the mirror, he realized that he look too shocked.
It's been now almost two weeks since nightmares started and everything was going worse. Now that he think about it, they started since his brother left him all alone.
With a sigh, he reached his phone on the night table and called Lucifer.

"Sam…" Lucifer's voice confirmed obviously that he just woke up. "Man, it's 3 am in the morning, what's the matter?" he asked, curious about his call before he heard his yawn.

"I.." Sam gulped once again and indecisive after a long pause, he started to talk again. "I had a nightmare. Again."

"Again?" Lucy's voice was more awaken by now, worried about his friend. "Do you want me to come over your place?" Sam had no choice anyway. He heard from the other side of the line the sound of clothes moving, Lucifer probably was already leaving his room.

"Uhm… yeah.. thanks, Luce. I'm going to be waiting on the living room."

"Alright, I'll be on ten minutes." And the line went dead.

Sam bit his lower lip with a frown. He sat on one of his sofas and waited for his friend in alert. He didn't knew if it was his imagination or not, but suddenly he started to hear noises, making him a little more anxious. Because Sam didn't take the time just because he was more aware and paLucifered for the noises, when he heard a knock on the front door, he went petrified, closing tight his eyes.

"Sam?" Lucifer's calm voice was a little worried too. "Are you still awake?" Sam fast and shy for overreact to much, walked to the door and opened, just to see his friend giving him a hug. "I'm here okay?" Lucy separated from the hug with a smile. "C'mon, go sit on the sofa while I make you some tea and you tell me everything."

Sam nodded as he headed the living room and Lucifer the kitchen, which it's in front.

He returned with two cups and handed one to Sam, sitting at his side leaning his face just to give him a short but comfortable kiss. Luce then rested his head on the other's shoulder, ready to listen Sam.

He wasn't afraid anymore.
