Another Now

It was only just the other day, when all this felt so real, like nothing could go wrong

She had really thought they were perfect for each other. They had started out as an amazing couple. They were perfect together.

It was like a never ending dream, like nothing ever changed, for so long

She didn't need to have dreams. As long as he was with her, she had everything.

But now you've, gone away, and I've tried, turning the page

She really did try. But she knew it would never be enough without him there with her.

But It's just, not the same.

She doesn't think it ever will be again.

And I'm breathing in, and I'm breathing out, I'm wide awake but I can't hear a sound

She's become a zombie; lifeless, forever.

Though I'm breathing in, I can't think about, another you, another me, another now

She will never find someone to replace him. He was her everything, and without him here, she's nothing.

Where do I go from here, I've never felt so strange, I've never felt so torn,

She has become a lost soul, in the sea of life.

Why did he have to be taken from her? They were in love, but that on crash changed everything.

She's not sure if she'll ever be the same again.

She hopes that someday, she will be with him again.

What's the point? His life was taken away that one night, when a drunk driver hit him head on in a car crash.

She turns down any invites. She doesn't smile anymore, she doesn't laugh the way the others long to hear again.

I'm sitting here, all alone, don't want to move, no where to go, 'cause nothing's real, I just want to hide

Her friends know she's become depressed, but there's nothing they can do. They've given up on her just as much as she has.

He never will be here again. And she can't stand it.

She promised him right before he died, that she would stay safe, for him. That she wouldn't hurt herself.

She always remembers him, and she dreams about him every night. Because the memories are all she has left.

Chad Dylan Cooper was taken away from Sonny Monroe. And the pieces will never be picked up again. So she waits. And dreams. And knows that someday, she will be with him again. And that's all she has. So she holds onto it. Because he stole her heart. And that's something she will never forget.
