Camilla: I

Disclaimer i do not own Carmilla or anything in that matter. I am poor, so very very poor.

"You're killing me Hollis. Why did we have to go and do this again? I know you have a death wish but I on the other hand, don't feel like dying just yet." She complained, unamused of being in a damn death forrest.

"Oh we'll be fine, don't be such a sour puss. Besides, this is a little romantic don't you think? To be under the full moon, looking up at the stars, the fresh air, the silence!" The little brunette persuaded, as naive and hopeful as ever. Her eyes gleaming with excitement as she stared at the brilliant little stars above her. Carmilla rolled her eyes, her hand sneakily making its way towards the little brunette's hand. Maybe camping would be so bad, the starry sky was as impressive as ever after all.

The fireflies flickered with a gentle cool breeze blowing. The mysterious woman smiled not knowing what was more beautiful, her camping partner or the stars. Somehow she had fallen for this small, shrill, over enthusiastic girl sitting beside her in the tent.

"Cupcake, I think this camping idea of yours has been the best idea you have ever had. If we don't get violently murdered for being in the woods behind Silas that is." She said with a chuckle. Laura gave her the look and scooted closer, pulling the blankets in and cuddling with her partner, knowing that there was no safer place. Their hands, holding on the one another as they both stared up at the sky.

"See that one right there." She pointed "That's the hero constellation. The brave hero rescued the princess and went up in history in Greek mythology but in the end, he too died just like the rest of them." She added. Laura lowered her head, looking down at their hands. "You're my hero Carm and you're not allowed to die. Alright?" Spoke the smaller woman, looking at her lover.

"If i died who would rescue the princess? She replied sarcastically, bringing her hand to her lips, gently kissing it, throwing a wink at the woman. Laura face lit up with a smiled "Good now teach me more of the constellations." She replied "Well you can also see Aquila the eagle tonight. Altair is the brightest star there and if you look a little over in that direction, you can find the queen, Cassiopeia. Those three are my favorite, do you know why?" She asked curiously.

"Is it because it's like us? I'm your Queen and you're my hero. You always protect me and i'm the queen that always seems to get into trouble and need rescuing?" She replied, snuggling in and resting her head on the other's shoulder.

"Something like that, except for the part of me being the hero, Im more of like the eagle. Always watching over you." She corrected "If there's a hero in the story, i don't think it would be me." She added "You're my hero." the other woman replied, kissing her cheek.
