Short one-shot crossover with a book series that is absolutely funny and a good read. Spoilers 1-4, some from 5. Mostly AU. HP belongs to the wonderful JKR and the Keeper series belongs to Tanya Huff.

Harry sat at his desk working on his homework assignments. It gave him something to do to take his mind off of the swirling thoughts that went through his head. He kept seeing strange things out of the corner of his eye, things that he didn't fully understand or could explain.

"Maybe I'm just going crazy", he mussed, as he stared blankly at the Charms book.

His door opened. A middle-aged woman stood in his doorway. She was wearing trousers with a sweater and sandals with socks. She smiled at him warmly. She turned back to his aunt.

"It's all right, Petunia dear. Let me just talk to him for a while."

Strange. She had a continental accent, definitely not from Britain.

"And let you contaminate him more, Martha? He's already a freak. He doesn't need more of this hocus pocus jumbo."

"Run along, Petunia. This doesn't concern you in the least. It only concerns those of the Lineage."

"On your head be it then", Petunia snarled.

This had Harry's curiosity up. What was the lineage?

"Hello, Harry. I'm Martha Hansen. I'm your mother's cousin. I'm sure that you are wondering what I am doing here, but I needed to talk to you."

The conversation over the next 3 hours took a really strange twist. There was an entire world that was separate from the wizarding world that dealt entirely with "good and evil". The world wasn't as black and white as he thought. He learned about the Lower, Upper and Middle of the posiblities. He learned how accident sites were created when someone performed some kind of evil in a spot. He learned that he was going to get training because he was a Keeper.

"How can I be a Keeper? I'm just a wizard?"

"Sometimes when you have powerful Cousins, their offspring can be Keepers. Remember, with great power comes great responsibility."

Harry started pounding his head on his desk.

"Great, and on top of this, Voldemort."

"Don't worry, dear. We'll just make getting rid of him your first priority. After all, getting rid of him will prevent a lot of accident sites from opening up. We can combine your first lesson with a little research."

"Huh?"

"Well, we do need to show you how to get to the Apothecary, so we might as well show you where the Historian hides."

"Where are we going?"

"Left of reality."

"WHAT?"

"If there is reality, it stands to think that something would be to the left of it."

"Why the left?"

"Because the Apothecary takes up the space to the right. Come on."

She dragged him over to his closet. She looked at the expression on his face.

"Don't worry, It's traditional."

Harry knew then his life couldn't get any stranger.

THE END

AN: The quotes at the end about reality are verbatim from the book.
