Day One
The tributes erupted at once. Right away the tributes divided into groups according to where they were heading. Chelsey dashed up the hill, grabbed a random assortment of bags, being the first one it was quiet quick, and headed towards the woods. Will grabbed a medical kit and a bow and quiver of arrow, and then dashed after Chelsey. Will called to the one person he knew he could trust…
"B-Becky!" he called out. The girl was half way out of the cornucopia, headed toward her team of friends, when a dagger whizzed by her head. "Whoa!" she screamed as she placed a bag filled with who-knows-what over her shoulder. She stumbled with the hill but soon made it past the tree line into the woods.
David was headed the opposite way, toward the tall grassed plains, where she knew she would be hard to detect. Ashley followed her friend, but was concerned about something. "David, do you think we will have enough food?" Ashley called to her friend that was moving, surprisingly, fast.
"Its ok just keep going, Ashley," David screamed as she plowed into the thick grass. Ashley listened to the wise David and hit the grass a moment later. Alexandra, being her confused self, ran after David and Ashley screaming, "Wait on me, silly-gooses!"
Brandon was with Jay. "Hurry up, dude," he yelled, "if we don't hurry u...-" he was cut off abruptly by a spear in his side. Seth smirked and Cooper slashed his sword at Jay, decapitating him in one swing. Both started laughing as they headed off in a different direction than the others.
Brittany and Morgan were at the cornucopia. Morgan had acquired a total of 6 daggers and heavy, thick bladed, knife; Brittany had a backpack with a few food items. They were both dashing down the hill when Karina came up behind Brittany with a quarterstaff in hand. She raised it in a large overhead strike that would cripple anything in its way. Just before Karina could get the staff onto the back of the helpless Brittany, Morgan lunged at Karina with the heavy knife; the blade went right through her abdomen. Karina coughed up blood; Morgan pushed her out from her knife and screamed at Brittany, "RUN!"
Sam was at the bottom of the hill when he tripped. He fell to the ground with a thud. Gracie appeared over him smiling, "It survival of the fittest Sam, and your not f-…" she couldn't finish her sentence. Evan stood over her with a club beating her over and over screaming something that sounded like…suck you, you sucking fish. Evan picked up Sam, holding him bridal style, and dashed to the woods for safety.
Catherine, Lawson, Samantha, and Bailey ran towards where Cooper and Seth disappeared to while Daniel and Megan ran towards a swampy area.
And in all these times, real friendships where never held together, as the tributes killed one another without mercy. Some will become twisted and mentally warped, others physically broken down. But from this beginning day, we know that this shall be the most spectacular Hunger Game's yet!
